Author Introduction
Author Karna Shahi was born on Kartik 25, Kathmandu-22, in Tebahal. Currently residing in Kuleshwor (Kalimati), Kathmandu-14, he was once a famous football player. In the ‘A Division Football League’ competition, he played for the local club Sundhara Edhar Football Team at Dasharath Stadium. He also played football for Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT Club) and Gandaki Eghar (Pokhara) in the Tribhuvan Challenge Knock Out Football Competition. In the 2032-33 BS, he participated in the Tilottama Gold Cup, a football competition organized by the Rupandehi District Football Association, and played football for Yeti Yuva Club of Maisthan under the captaincy of Hari Bahadur Shrestha in the district-level ‘Madhav Bandhav Cup Football Competition’ organized at the ground in Birgunj Adarshnagar. He also participated in the Bikash Running Shield Football Competition conducted at Campachour, Narayanghat. BS. Since 2035, he played football for the Sri Singhanath Battalion for a long period of ten years in the inter-band football competition and inter-army football competition under the Nepal Army. He has also won many titles in the process of playing.
Later, he entered the transportation sector. He got the opportunity to make a special contribution for 17 years by being in a popular committee like the Siddhartha Transportation Entrepreneurs Committee. Appreciating his honesty, the committee presented him with a certificate of appreciation at the 27th Annual General Meeting. He was the in-charge of Kathmandu in the committee in the past and is currently living a retired life.
Always teaching that one should live an active and positive life and living accordingly, he has made up his mind to do something or the other as long as he breathes. This collection of stories is the result of his high thinking. Before thinking about writing, he did not even know Nepali typing. However, he maintained his courage and learned typing, making it possible for this book to be published.
